Hey guys. Dragon Ball Super has caused a stir in the world of anime ever since its release. Not many people would have believed that the anime would be performing at such quality for a prolonged period of time. However, it has actually performed really well and the Dragon Ball fans have been jumping up and down with glee ever since its release. After the abysmal additions to the franchise, it was bound to happen.

Firstly, Dragon Ball GT. It was ugh…a really big mistake and it certainly didn’t go down well with the fans of the franchise. Then there was Dragonball: Evolution. I mean… let’s be honest, it was a total cowpat of a movie. The less said about it the better. However, Dragon Ball fans will have to be thankful for the atrocious live action movie as it forced Toriyama to start caring for the franchise once again. Last year, it was revealed that Dragon Ball will be getting a new movie and before you get all depressed, it is NOT a live action movie. It’s an animated one like it should be. The movie has been announced for 2018, with no accurate release date as of yet.

Earlier today, it was revealed that the Toei Animation booth at AnimeJapan 2018, will provide some major news about the movie. It is assumed that the news will come out anytime between March 22-25. The focus point of the movie is the Saiyan race. It has been speculated that the movie may be titled, “The Strongest Race In the Universe — Saiyans.”

It is going to talk about the Saiyans and focusing on their lives and their beginning. If you are an avid follower of the news, then you will know that Toriyama recently revealed some important stuff about the Saiyan race in general, that might be a crucial part of the movie. This is movie is canon and it is Akira Toriyama’s original work.

All of the character designs and the movie screen play has been done by Akira Toriyama. As if we didn’t have enough reasons to be excited already. 2018 is going to be a great year for the Dragon Ball fans. If you aren’t happy enough, then let me tell you about the possibility of getting to see an amazing character in the series. I’m talking about Yamoshi. Who’s Yamoshi? Well, that’s a topic for another time.
That’s it from me.

Hey guys. The Tournament of Power is almost over. We are left with just seven minutes. These seven minutes will decide the fate of the remaining two universes in the Tournament of Power. In Dragon Ball Super episode 123, we got several fights, which pleased the fans. The standout from these fights was Gokū and Vegeta vs Jiren. Vegeta finally got his new form and he went all out with Son Gokū to take down Jiren.

However, Jiren isn’t going down so easily, he powered up even more and managed to beat up both Vegeta and Gokū, albeit this was before their transformation. There was also another fight, which involved Gohan, Android 17 and Toppo. Android 17 came up with a strategy to beat Toppo and it seemed to work at first, however, Toppo saved himself. Towards the end of the episode, we got the preview for the next episode which is 124. The name of the episode is “The Fiercely Overwhelming Assault! Gohan’s Last Stand.”

Normally, one wouldn’t pay much any heed to the title, however @Herms98 on Twitter found a particular hint in this title. @Herms98 tweeted—
“The expression 背水の陣/haisui no jin (translated as “last stand” here) comes from the Battle of Jingxing, when General Han Xin positioned his troops between a river and the enemy, eliminating their own escape route in order to motivate them to victory.”

As Todd has pointed out that Gohan’s upcoming battle against either Dyspo or Toppo will put Gohan in a certain amount of danger. He further added—
“Thus, 背水の陣 literally means a battle formation with water behind it. In the original instance in the Battle of Jingxing, the people fighting in that position actually won, but obviously this isn’t the impression translating it as “last stand” gives.” —@Todd98
He further hinted that the people who are involved with official subs know what the episode will actually be made of.

So, they may or may not translate it like, so that we wouldn’t get any information out of it. However, it is obvious that Gohan is actually going down in the series sooner or later. As we have we have the last few remaining minutes in the Tournament of Power, it would make sense for Gohan to get eliminated.
That’s it from me.

Hey guys. Dragon Ball Super’s spoilers are out and it has sent the fans into frenzy. Well, after the recent episode, who wouldn’t be excited. We saw Vegeta getting another form and it was pretty awesome. The new form has granted him strength beyond Super Saiyan Blue. We don’t exactly know how much stronger it is than the Super Saiyan Blue, but it is stronger than the regular Super Saiyan Blue.

The Grand Priest confirmed that Vegeta broke through his shell just like Gokū did against Jiren earlier. It is possible that Vegeta will not get any power up for a long time now because Whis has already said that once you break through your shell, it isn’t easy to do it again. So, in order to get stronger, Vegeta will have to work even harder. The same is true for Goku. Towards the end of the episode, Vegeta and Gokū attacked Jiren and they kind of gained an advantage against him because of their uncoordinated attacks. Now moving towards the spoilers of Dragon Ball Super 124, Vegeta and Gokū are still going at it and attacking Jiren with their full power.

Of course, Gokū is not using the Ultra Instinct yet so he is not at 100% power, but he’s at the next best thing to Ultra Instinct. BUT, Jiren delivers a strong counter attack against their combined attacks. I mean wow. I can’t really describe how Jiren can do such a thing. How stronger can a person get? All these things make you start questioning how can Universe 7 survive against this monster? He’s nothing like the previous villains that have been introduced in the series. They have a certain limit but unlike them, Jiren has been getting only stronger and stronger.

Well, personally I am a big fan of Jiren and his character. Despite Vegeta and Gokū’s powers, Jiren manages to push back both of them. It was revealed in one of the previous episodes that Jiren always ends up surpassing his opponents and I believe this is the reason why he surpassed the God of Destruction. He must have fought against a God of Destruction and during their fight, Jiren powered up and surpassed him/her.

It makes sense as the other Universes seem to know about Jiren. There’s no doubt that Gokū and Vegeta will cause Jiren problems but he will surpass them as well. So, because of this reason I believe that the Tournament of Power will end either in a draw of Universe 7 will win because of their number advantage. But, Jiren will remain undefeated.
That’s it from me.

Hey guys. It’s that time of the week again, when we are blessed with the spoilers of the upcoming episodes of Dragon Ball Super. This week’s spoilers are particularly exciting. Well, who wouldn’t be excited after that breathtaking episode that we got during the previous week. Dragon Ball Super episode 123 was really something else.

I’d like to congratulate them on their recent run of amazing episodes. They have really picked up the pace in the recent episodes. Eliminations are flying left, right and centre. The highlight from the episode was Jiren. I mean there’s no way you can’t acknowledge the fact that Jiren has surpassed all his predecessors who have been involved in the Dragon Ball franchise. Jiren’s power is just too much. Before today’s episode, Jiren easily managed to match both Gokū and Vegeta in a fight.

In DBS 123, Vegeta finally got his new power up. Now in today’s episode, we were waiting to see how far can Vegeta’s new mode take him. I’m disappointed to say that Vegeta’s new form, is pretty far away from Gokū’s Ultra Instinct. Ultra Instinct Gokū was more than enough to match Jiren. However, Jiren has become stronger now. But, it is evident the new form of Vegeta is unable to push Jiren to his limits just like Ultra Instinct Gokū. It is going to take something special in order to bring down Jiren. As of now, neither Gokū nor Vegeta have got that special something.

Going back to the spoilers, in the spoilers for Dragon Ball Super 125, there has been no mention of Gohan but Android 17 has been mentioned in the spoilers. It might not be a big deal but if you remember, the title of Dragon Ball Super episode 124 is “The Fiercely Overwhelming Assault! Gohan’s Last Stand.” There have been several hints that Gohan’s time is almost up in the Tournament of Power, and this is the biggest one of them. Gohan has been shown a lot of promise in the recent episodes.

It is possible that Gohan is going to be eliminated by Toppo, who appears to be powering up in the same episode. I think that this is the end for Gohan. He has done really well and sooner or later, he was going to be eliminated.
That’s it from me.

Hey guys. For all the manga readers, I’d like to point out that the new Dragon Ball Super chapter is out, however, it has not been translated yet. It will take a couple of days for the translated version to come out. Like every manga chapter, we get new information about certain characters. The manga gives the details about the stuff that has happened in the anime, but it makes no sense at all.

So, the manga does it utmost best to explain it. This post has spoilers from the new chapter, so if you don’t want to be spoiled then please don’t read any further. In Dragon Ball Super 32, we received a new detail about a Freeza. Freeza was recruited in the chapter by Gokū. As we know that Freeza is already dead. He has died twice and like in the anime, there wasn’t any mention about Freeza dying twice. Freeza doesn’t talk about wanting Earth’s Dragon Balls.

Freeza reveals that Gokū just promised to revive Freeza with the “Dragon Balls”. However, that is not possible as Freeza has already been revived with the Dragon Balls. There wasn’t anything else that could cause a huge stir from the episode. There was another detail but that was about Sadala. The king of Sadala is named King Sadala, in the same way that the king of planet Vegeta is called King Vegeta. In the chapter, Universe 6’s warriors were shown. Cabba used Super Saiyan transformation to fight Caulifla, he gave a nice beating.

Caulifla originally refused to join the team for the survival of Universe 6. But, Cabba promised that he’ll teach her the Super Saiyan transformation. Caulifla readily agrees to it and both Caulifa and Kale go along with Cabba. Also, I’d like to mention that Caulifla learns the Super Saiyan and she finds it really easy to use. Cabba points out that the Saiyans from Universe 7 found it more difficult to use the transformation. Caulifla gets really excited and she assumes that she is more talented than the Saiyans from Universe 7. Kale is quiet and really does nothing except for apologizing.

Caulifla does say that Kale has got a lot of potential but as of now, she is weak. A fairly decent chapter, nothing outstanding. The wait for the next chapter behind now. That’s it from me.

Hey everyone! Dragon Ball Super Episode 123 aired today, and I think it was one of the best episodes that we’ve had so far. The episode was packed with action from start to finish, with Goku being at the center of it all. Before I begin discussing this post, I want you guys to know that it contains spoilers from Episode 123, and potential spoilers from the remaining part of the Tournament of Power.

If you haven’t watched the episode already, please do so. Now that you’ve watched it, let’s continue. Jiren’s unbelievable powers were once again displayed in Dragon Ball Super Episode 123. As most people expected, he was not at full power when Goku fought him before, or in the previous episode as well.

Only after being outmaneuvered by Goku, he powered up, and according to Belmod, he began to show what his full power was like. I’m sure that Jiren has got a lot more in store that what we saw in Episode 123, but there was something interesting that caught my eye. When Goku used SSBKkx20, and then Vegeta went past his limits with his blue form, Jiren was actually pushed back, and he couldn’t keep up with the two of them together.

This was very interesting to me, because it means that they’re close to Jiren when they fight together with every ounce of energy that they have. But what if they were to fuse? If we see Vegetto Blue at this point, then I’m sure Jiren will be defeated. With the new Super Saiyan Blue form of Vegeta, and Goku’s Kaio-ken, Jiren can surely be defeated by Vegetto.

It looks that’s the best way for Universe 7 to deal with Jiren. Sure, Jiren is very powerful. But, can he handle Vegetto Blue? Opinions may vary, but I don’t think so. Last time we saw Vegetto, he diffused in 5 minutes. The time remaining in the Tournament of Power is just 7 minutes.

So, maybe after 2 minutes, Goku and Vegeta will fuse, and they won’t have to worry about diffusing while fighting Jiren because Vegetto can lasted at least 5 minutes the last time. But this is just one of the possibilities. It is possible that Ultra Instinct Goku returns, and then he manages to take down Jiren, which I think is something that won’t happen. I don’t think even Ultra Instinct Goku has what it takes to beat Jiren. But that’s my opinion. We’ll find out as the Tournament of Power progresses.

Hey guys. Like every other week, this week we received the preview images for Dragon Ball Super’s new episode. This week’s images were rather lack lustre as compared to the previous. Not really much to talk about except for Vegeta…new form.

Dragon Ball Super fans are highly anticipating the release of Dragon Ball Super 123 as in that episode, we will see Vegeta finally getting a new power up and using it as well. But before we start discussing the images, I’d like to warn you that this post has spoilers. So read ahead at your own risk. Let’s begin. The main highlight of the episode will be Vegeta’s new power up. As you can see in the photo below that it is different than Super Saiyan Blue.

It is much more darker than the original Super Saiyan Blue. The main question is how strong is this form? Is it comparable to the Ultra Instinct? Well, personally I don’t think so. This form is just a slight upgrade to Super Saiyan Blue. This is because, according to the spoilers, Vegeta and Gokū will be pairing up to fight Jiren. Normally we would have expected Vegeta’s new form to give him the edge over Jiren. However that doesn’t seem to be the case. It was speculated that this form would be the equivalent of the Ultra Instinct.

But the sad truth is that this new form isn’t equal to Ultra Instinct. Vegeta and Gokū both fail to overwhelm Jiren. Gokū will use Super Saiyan Blue plus Kaioken 20x and Vegeta will be using his new form. However, they still fail to overwhelm Jiren. Ultra Instinct Gokū was more than a match for Jiren. So, comparing the powers would be quite foolish. There’s no doubt that the new form will make Vegeta more powerful than before.

But he is still ways off from being equal to Ultra Instinct Gokū. There’s no need to be upset because Vegeta will get another power up in the Tournament of Power. To be more specific, Vegeta will be ascending the power level of a God of Destruction in Dragon Ball Super episode 126. How he’s going to do that still remains a mystery. We just have the title of the episode and not the full spoilers. But, we shall be getting them soon enough.

That’s it from me.

Hey guys! In this post, I want to talk about the Tournament of Power, and how I think we’ll progress in the upcoming episodes. Dragon Ball Super Episode 123 gave us a glimpse of Jiren’s full power. He was monstrous before, and now he just got even stronger! This guy is unmatched, and I’m honestly in awe of how strong he really is.

I’m starting to believe that he might actually be stronger than all the Gods of Destruction, maybe even Beerus. As everyone suspected, and Vegeta confirmed, Jiren was indeed holding back his power in the Tournament of Power all this while. He was holding back when he fought Vegeta in the last episode, and before that when he fought Goku as well. After being outsmarted by Goku, he finally unleashed his true power, and everyone including Beerus was surprised to see what a monster he is.

This resulted in Goku tapping into every ounce of power that he held within his body. Vegeta also managed to do the same, and he ended up breaking his shell just like Goku did with Ultra Instinct. At this point it isn’t clear what Vegeta’s new form actually is. The Daishinkan described it in a similar manner to the way Goku achieved Ultra Instinct. Maybe there is some connection there, I’m not sure.

To match up, Goku went to his absolute peak, and he put Kaio-ken x20 on top of his regular Super Saiyan Blue. Only then we’re the two able to push Jiren back. Again, Jiren isn’t going all out yet. According to the spoilers, he will keep on powering up in the next episode. If that happens, I don’t know for how long Goku will last.

Kaio-ken is a technique that doesn’t last long. It gives an instant boost to the person, but it wears out quickly. We’ve already seen that happen twice in the Tournament of Power. The interesting part is, whenever Goku exhausted his Kaio-ken, he was able to tap into the power of Ultra Instinct. He did it once against Jiren. The other time, he did the same thing against Kefla.

I think it is definitely going to happen again. Everyone expects Goku to go Ultra Instinct at some point in the next couple of episodes. I think he’ll do it in Episode 127, or maybe 128. We have Toppo, and Dyspo left to deal with as well. In any case, I think awakening of the Ultra Instinct is just around the corner. This time, it’ll be stronger than before, and hopefully Goku will master it completely too.

Hey guys. We have been a lot of great episodes from Dragon Ball Super. Both of the last two episodes were exceptionally good. Let’s talk about the most recent episode which is Dragon Ball Super episode number 122. The episode was finally out after the break. This was the much awaited episode which would pit Jiren against Vegeta. From the spoilers, it was revealed that Vegeta will be having a torrid time against Jiren, however, the Saiyan Prince did manage to defend his pride very well.

However, Vegeta did end up losing the fight. To be honest, it was inevitable and there wasn’t anything that Vegeta could have done to prevent it, except for maybe not deciding to challenge Jiren to a fight. But now it’s in the past and we are highly anticipating the release of the next episode of Dragon Ball Super. Waiting for the next episode? Why? I’ll tell you why. It is because in the next episode of Dragon Ball Super, Vegeta will be getting a new power up. It’s actually pretty crazy considering how just a few episodes ago, he was getting beaten up every time he tried to awaken Ultra Instinct. In the preview for the next episode of Dragon Ball Super, it was revealed that Vegeta’s new power up will allow him to go beyond the power of the Super Saiyan God.

What heightened the speculation that it might be the superior form of Super Saiyan Blue was the new ending. However, I can assure you that there is a possibility that the Vegeta in the ending is actually not real. When I say not real, what I mean is that Vegeta will not be getting the better form of Super Saiyan Blue. He will in fact be getting Ultra Instinct.

Before you all jump to any conclusions, I’d like you to read this— “So, I was looking at the picture of Vegeta in the outro to 122 and the NEP for 123, and I couldn’t put my finger on it, but something looked very different to me. So on a whim, I took the outro still and recolored the hair and eyes. I didn’t add anything, change anything, etc. I just turned the blues into grays. Look familiar?I think the outro right now is just a quick recolor to not spoil things, but Vegeta will definitely be getting Ultra Instinct. Another part of this is the white smokey aura/”heat” coming off of Vegeta. In the NEP he had a raging blue fire-like aura. In the outro, he’s definitely got that aura like Goku in UI.” This was pointed out by the redditor named, /u/kyrptonianjesus. He also included a photo.

As you clearly see that he does make a valid point. It is possible that Vegeta will get Ultra Instinct instead of getting a new Super Saiyan Blue form. That’s it from me.

Hey guys. Speculations are flying left regarding the ending of the Tournament of power. One thing that is common with all the theories is that, the end of the Tournament of Power would mean the end of Jiren’s unbeaten streak. He is super powerful and he is easily the strongest fighter in the Tournament of Power. Now in the previous of Dragon Ball Super which was episode 122, Jiren said something that has raised a few eyebrows. When Vegeta survived Jiren’s attack, Jiren said something rather interesting. Jiren said, “You will never be able to beat me…Your fists are arrogant. There isn’t a speck of purity in the self-righteous way you fight.”

This was one of the two events. Before that he went on to ask Goku, why he wished to become stronger, and when asked the same, he responded with, “I seek that which lies beyond strength.” It may look like ordinary at first but after reading the whole theory, the outlook completely changes. This is believed to be the reason which prove pivotal to his downfall. Jiren might actually have dropped a big hint on how to defeat him. Jiren will only be defeated by a warrior who has a pure heart and who has pure intentions. So, power alone wouldn’t be able to take down Jiren.

Jiren requires a powerful warrior who has pure intentions. That’s why so far Vegeta and Goku have failed to defeat him. They fight only to prove that they are the best and continue growing stronger simply to push their limits. Now when you think about it, who has got a pure heart in Universe 7? Goku and Vegeta? Nope. Freeza-sama? Yeah sure. Gohan? A lot of people believe that Gohan will get a larger role and if he is portrayed as the leader of Universe 7.

I don’t doubt that Gohan is the perfect choice for a leader. There are also several other speculation that Gohan will actually win the Tournament of Power. It’s no brainer that there is literally no way that Gohan can become so strong that he would defeat Jiren. In that sense it’s completely understandable. However, what if it isn’t strength which is required to defeat Jiren. Jiren has even surpassed the Gods of Destruction and that is why he seeks something that lies beyond strength. It is possible that Jiren is just looking for a true challenge, and the only way he can find said challenge is by finding that purity of heart and purpose, not power itself. That’s it from me.

Hey guys. Today’s episode was just fantastic. I can really describe it. Each and everyone of us was hyped up for this episode and it certainly didn’t disappoint. Again the main focus of the episode was Jiren. It’s fairly obvious. Whenever, Jiren has been involved in an episode, there’s not a single time when the fans haven’t talked about him. Today’s episode wasn’t any different. Jiren was fighting both Gokū and Vegeta, as we had in the previous episode albeit both Gokū and Vegeta have powered up.

A thing that I’d like to mention is that Jiren has powered up as well. He has increased probably close to maximum, which hints that Jiren is serious now and he’s looking to end it. Belmod said that it’s been a very long time since he has seen Jiren this powerful. Also, Jiren has acknowledged that Vegeta is worthy opponent and he calls him a warrior. Belmod and Kai again point it out that for Jiren to say such a thing, it is indeed an honour for Vegeta. Moving swiftly forward, Gokū and Vegeta attack Jiren. It was two on one fight. Gokū and Vegeta are actually lacking teamwork. Just a reminder that Gokū was using the Kaioken while as Vegeta was fighting in his latest form.

Vegeta achieved this form by breaking through his shell, just like Gokū as pointed out by the Grand Priest. Their coordination is totally off balance and normally you’d expect it not to work against someone as strong as Jiren. However, on the contrary their lack of coordination seems to have put off Jiren. This is the first time that I have seen Jiren like this. Vegeta and Gokū lack of coordination was supposed to play into Jiren’s hands, however, it seems to have causing Jiren some problem.

I’m really amazed by the tremendous quality of the episode. Jiren is an amazing character, his badass levels just keeps on increasing. Earlier I believed that Jiren wouldn’t go any further, but he has proved me and a lot of fans wrong. Jiren has still got ways to go and I’d like to point out that Jiren keeps on growing with each fight, kind of like our protagonist, Son Goku. So, the more difficult the challenge, the more powerful Jiren gets after that fight.

I do believe that Jiren’s final fight against Gokū will boil down to who has more potential and the one who has more potential out of the two will end up winning the Tournament for their team. That’s it from me.
